Title: The supreme power of God
( Colossians 1:15-20) The son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. And He is the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything He might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through His blood, shed on the cross.
Jesus is not only equal with God but He is God . (Philippians 2:6-7) Who, being in very nature God did not consider equality with God something to be used to His own advantage; rather, He made Himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. Christ is God made visible in the image of invisible God. God has chosen to reflect His image in human form through Christ. Because Christ created and rules all creation, including the spirit world, so we have to believe in the deity of Jesus.
Without this central belief, our Christian Faith becomes hollow, misinterpreted and valueless. We must oppose the belief that Jesus was merely a prophet, a good teacher , or one of the many ways to a relationship with God. Christ is the firstborn from among the dead. Jesus was raised from death, and His resurrection proves His Lordship over the world. All believers in Christ will also defeat death and rise again to live eternally with Him. (1 Corinthians 15:20).
(1 Thessalonians 4:14) For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. Because of Christ’s death on the cross, He has been exalted and elevated to the status that is rightfully His. His supremacy reigns the whole universe, for that reason we should give Him first place in our lives. Christ’s death opened the way for all men to come to Him. His death has taken away our penalty for sin, which deters us from having relationship with our Heavenly Father. This doesn’t mean that everyone has been saved, but it means that whoever that accepts this death of Christ will be saved. We can have peace with God and be reconciled to Him by accepting Him , who died for our sins.
If you don’t know weather you are saved or not, if you are not sure! Just say God, I come to you today, I know you died for me on the cross of Calvary. Please forgive me of all my sins, I am sorry for all my sins, come into my life , count me worthy to be your son or your daughter, through the blood of Jesus. After you have made this confession, Jesus offers you His free salvation , no matter what you have done, or whom you are, He will welcome you into the family of God. You are now a new creation. God bless you. We want to resurrect like Jesus resurrected, this is the 1st step to get that qualification. Please Don’t wait anymore time is ticking.
Prayers: Jesus , I know you are the son of God, sent to die for me. Help me oh Lord to surrender my life to you . I choose today to give my life to you. I receive your forgiveness from my sins. Come today and reign in my life. Visit me and my family today and give us your salvation so we will receive your resurrection unto eternity in Jesus name. Thank you Jesus for forgiving. Today I am a new creation by the power in the blood of Jesus. Amen.
