TOPIC: YOU HAVE A MINISTRY TO DELIVER (II)
 
MEMORISE : And say to Archippus, "Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you may fulfill it" (Colossians 4:17).
 
READ: Colossians 4 :16,17
[16]. Now when this epistle is read among you, see that it is read also in the church of the Laodiceans, and that you likewise read the epistle from Laodicea.
[17]. And say to Archippus, “Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you may fulfill it.”
 
EXPOSITION
We express gratitude to the Almighty for the message delivered yesterday. The life, household and ministry of Philip, the Evangelist presented a remarkable challenge to us. His four children were imbued with the Holy Spirit and all served in the house of God. It is imperative to inquire whether every member of your household is actively engaged in the service of of the Lord. Do your spouse and children participate in Sunday school, Bible study, and other church activities? It is essential to encourage and pray for them to work for the Lord. It is noteworthy that all Philip's four children were female, which serves as a compelling argument against the notion that some individuals refuse to sponsor their female children because they will eventually change their names in marriage.
God utilised these four daughters as prophetesses, and they were all pure, chaste and holy. The eldest sister was a godly role model to her younger siblings, and she did not engage in premarital sex or indulge in partying and clubbing or wearing revealing and provocative attire. Hallelujah! The sisters were filled with the Holy Spirit and endowed with spiritual gifts according to the eternal desire of the Spirit. What a remarkable ministry within a family! What do you exhibit to others in your family-spirituality or stupidity? Turn to God today and fulfil your ministry. Make your family members the first converts to be won for Christ.
 
PRAYER POINTS
1. Lord, I will fulfil my ministry in holiness and purity, in Jesus' name.
2. God, deliver Your children who are victims of fake brethren in the ministry.
3. Pray for CAC Theological Seminary, Opa, Ile-Ife and its off Campuses, the Provost, the Coordinators and the staff as led by the Holy Spirit.
