New Generation Grace Ministry Daily Devotional For October 24, 2021 : Topic - Daily Devotional

--> Note :- Are you born again? You are never going to win the battle against the devil if you are not born again. I plead with you to give your life to Jesus today because the longer you stay in sin and remain unsaved, the more hardened your nature becomes against the purpose and the way God wants you to be for His purpose. To give your life to Jesus now, say this prayer: “Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I know that I am a sinner and I cannot save myself but Jesus died for me and shed His blood that I might be saved. Today, I accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. Jesus, I ask You to come into my heart, be my Lord, wash me with Your blood and make me whole. I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.” I congratulate you and welcome you to the family of God if you have sincerely said that prayer. Now you are fit to discover, know and walk in your destiny. Title: God Says He will hear our Prayers.

( 2nd Chronicles 7 :11-22). When Solomon had finished the temple of the Lord and the royal palace, and had succeeded in carrying out all he had in mind to do in the temple of the Lord and in his own palace, 12 the Lord appeared to him at night and said: “I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for myself as a temple for sacrifices. 13 “When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, 14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

15 Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. 16 I have chosen and consecrated this temple so that my Name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there. 17 “As for you, if you walk before me faithfully as David your father did, and do all I command, and observe my decrees and laws, 18 I will establish your royal throne, as I covenanted with David your father when I said, ‘You shall never fail to have a successor to rule over Israel.’ 19 “But if you turn away and forsake the decrees and commands I have given you and go off to serve other gods and worship them, 20 then I will uproot Israel from my land, which I have given them, and will reject this temple I have consecrated for my Name. I will make it a byword and an object of ridicule among all peoples. 21 This temple will become a heap of rubble. All[c] who pass by will be appalled and say, ‘Why has the Lord done such a thing to this land and to this temple?’ 22 People will answer, ‘Because they have forsaken the Lord, the God of their ancestors, who brought them out of Egypt, and have embraced other gods, worshiping and serving them that is why he brought all this disaster on them.’”

The temple was dedicated to God , Solomon and the people prepared to worship Him there. Dedication is setting apart a place, an object, or a person for an exclusive purpose. The purpose of this temple dedication was to set apart this temple as a place to worship God. The Bible says we are the God’s temple, not the buildings. (2 Corinthians 6:16) What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live  with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people. Just as Solomon dedicated the temple, we should dedicate ourselves to carrying out God’s special purpose.

Months, maybe years had passed since Solomon’s prayer of dedication (2Chronicles 6) . Many other building projects had been completed after the temple. It took sometime before God appeared to Solomon and told him that He had heard Solomon’s prayer. How often do we look for immediate answers to our prayers and, when we are not getting result so fast, we begin to lose faith, we begin to seek help from another god by going into rituals and occultism. God does answer prayers but we have to trust in Him, and understand that He comes at His own time. Delay in our prayers does not mean denial.

God requires us to change our attitudes towards Him. He wants us to trust in His power, He wants us to follow Him with faith, obey His laws, seek Him continually and turn away from our sinful lives. God plainly set forth certain conditions for Solomon to meet if He wanted the Kingdom to continue. If Solomon followed God, him and his descendants would prosper, but if not they would face destruction. God’s condition are still applicable to us in our days. We will never go wrong when we Choose to obey God. It comes with benefit when we obey Him. Our prayers are answered, and we will be qualified to reign eternity with Him. God will help us  in Jesus name.

Prayers: God please help me to dedicate my life to you. My body is your temple help me oh Lord to keep it Holy till the end in Jesus name. Whenever I call you, please answer me. Please Lord please I want you to continue to speak to me , I desire to hear from you, please Lord come and show me your glory in Jesus name.
