Title: A New Heaven and a New Earth
Revelation 21:1-8) Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away,and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City,the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them.They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes.There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain,for the old order of things has passed away.” 5 He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
6 He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. 7 Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. 8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur.
We live in the old and corrupted earth, God created heaven and earth and after creation He said it is good , He was happy with the creation and looked at it and said it is good. (Genesis 1:31) God saw all that He made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning the sixth day. That earth God created and said that it was good, when God looks at the earth now with what is going on in the world, can He still say it is good? (Genesis 6:5-7) in Genesis chapter 1 God was happy with the creation when He said all was good, then down to Genesis chapter 6, God has started to be angry with His creation. Man has already started to deviate from where God placed him and was full of wickedness. God has started to regret that He created man, oh! God have mercy on us.
(Genesis 6:7) So the Lord said , I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created and with them the animals,the birds and the creatures that move along the ground for I regret that I have made them. Chai!! God! I can feel here that God became stressful because of man’s behavior. Na waaaooh.
So the world became corrupted and full of wickedness, God decided He is going to bring anew heaven and earth, this old one will pass away, there are different kinds of evil in this earth. Sickness, death, sorrow, hardship, stabbing and killing, occultism, rituals, name it all. In this world now people live in fear, insecurity, hateful , anger, injustice etc. God is going to make everything new. This new heaven and earth , there will be no death, no sickness no pain. We will be with God in this new earth, life will be perfect, with no pain or sorrow.
Beloved, what preparation are you making to be part of this new heaven and earth? Only those who are victorious will inherit this new place. I thank God that He will make everything new because this earth is already distasteful . In the new earth and new heaven , there will be no night there. (Revelation 22:5) There will be no more night in the city, and they will have no need for the light of a lamp or of the sun. For the Lord God will shine on them, and they will reign forever and ever. How are you getting ready for this wonderful place ? This old earth will be replaced with a new one. Are you ready, are you concerned where you will spend eternity? Why not start asking yourself this question now? If Death comes today where will I spend eternity, or if rapture takes place where will my soul go? It is appointed unto man to die once after this the judgement? Where will you spend eternity? Today might be your last day on earth. Where will your soul be after you leave this earth? This is a question that everyone must answer. May the Lord help us to get ready for the new heaven and earth in Jesus name.
Prayers: When the saints will be matching to heaven , please Lord help me to be in the number in Jesus name. Help me oh Lord to get ready for the new heaven and earth in Jesus name.
