C.A.C SUNDAY SCHOOL MANUAL FOR SEPTEMBER 12, 2021 ( UPPER ELEMENTARY, LOWER ELEMENTARY & PRE-ELEMENTARY) : TOPIC - "WOWS" OF THE END-TIME

--> Note :- Are you born again? You are never going to win the battle against the devil if you are not born again. I plead with you to give your life to Jesus today because the longer you stay in sin and remain unsaved, the more hardened your nature becomes against the purpose and the way God wants you to be for His purpose. To give your life to Jesus now, say this prayer: “Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I know that I am a sinner and I cannot save myself but Jesus died for me and shed His blood that I might be saved. Today, I accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. Jesus, I ask You to come into my heart, be my Lord, wash me with Your blood and make me whole. I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.” I congratulate you and welcome you to the family of God if you have sincerely said that prayer. Now you are fit to discover, know and walk in your destiny. INTRODUCTION
What do you say when you find yourself unexpectedly in a very beautiful room, or office for the first time, or you receive a very expensive gift when you don't expect. You look at it and say "Wow"!
Wow is the word we use most of the time to show that we are excited, happy or surprise at something we see, hear about, or receive.
The end time is filled with so many exciting things that can make you say "wow"! many times in a day. But do you know that most of these exciting things are like dents or trap meant to destroy your friendship. You need to close your eyes to them.

FIRST WEEK: KING HEZEKIAH IS SICK
September 5, 2021
Hezekiah was the king of Judah. He was a good king. He served God and put away idols, so God was happy with him.
One day, King Hezekiah became very sick. Hezekiah must have been praying during this sickness, because God sent Prophet Isaiah to him, to inform him. God instructed the Prophet to tell Hezekiah that he should put his house in order because he will die. This means that the king should start doing things right. He may have to tell some people some secrets, tell his family who among his children should become the king, or even tell them where he will want them to bury him.
When King Hezekiah heard this, he became very sad. He faced the wall and prayed hard unto the Lord. Hezekiah even wept while he prayed. Hezekiah reminded God of how he has served Him with a perfect heart. What do you do when you hear, something unpleasant about yourself or your friends? What do you do when you have a very frightening dream? Do you just get sad and cry? No, you don't have to do that? Whenever something unpleasant happens to you, you must make sure you pray, even if you cry, you must make sure you pray. Prayer takes away sorrow, and brings solution to problems.
When God heard the prayers and cries of King Hezekiah, God answered his prayers. God sent Prophet Isaiah back to king Hezekiah to tell him that he would not die again. God told him, that he would be spending another fifteen years on earth.
Truly, God is good and merciful. The prophet turned back; he obeyed the last order. He told Hezekiah what the Lord said and truly God did what He promised Hezekiah. Hezekiah lived for extra fifteen years. Wow!
LESSONS
1. God answers prayer, especially when we are unhappy.
2. Learn to obey the last order of your parent, like Isaiah obeyed God.
SECOND WEEK: KING HEZEKIAH GETS TOO EXCITED
September 12, 2021
After God had healed Hezekiah, the king of Babylon, Berodach-Baladan sent messengers and a get-well letter and gifts to Hezekiah because of the solders.
Hezekiah received the gifts and welcomed the people. Hezekiah must have been too excited about the gift, and message sent to him, Hezekiah forgot that the Babylonians are always very wicked to people, especially to Israel.
King Hezekiah went ahead to show everything in his house. This is a serious carelessness by King Hezekiah. By showing the messengers everything, Hezekiah has made it easy for the enemies to attack him later.
This action got God very angry and God sent Prophet Isaiah to go and pronounce judgment on Hezekiah for his carelessness and foolishness. Hezekiah got God very angry with himself and Israel and even his children because he was too excited.
In this end-time, the devil is giving you so many things that gets you excited and makes you giggle and say wow. These things look beautiful and attractive, but they are dangerous and can make God get angry with you. There are technologies that help you to lie and cheat. There are laws that say your parents do not have any right to beat you. There are people who use their talents to destroy people's lives by acting or dressing nude on the screen. There are games and cartoons that teach you wickedness and evil. All these things look so exciting but they are too dangerous. They can help to destroy your walk with God and destiny. The worst is that it can make you lose our when Jesus comes.
My little friend, do not let anything that is against the Bible, no matter how exciting, deceive you this end time.
LESSONS
1. The devil's package is like a big snack put in a beautifully wrapped box. Avoid it.
2. The best thing to do so that you will not be too excited and forget God in this end-time is to love God with all your heart and stay close to the Bible.
QUESTIONS
1. Mention 5 things that look very exciting but are dangerous to you as a Christian e.g. Playing game on your phone for hours while you can't read your Bible for 10 minutes. Say more.
2. How can you stay away from getting too excited about the events of end-time?
PRAYER: Help me O Lord, to control my emotions whenever I am excited, so that I do not bring myself into trouble.
