--> Note :- Are you born again? You are never going to win the battle against the devil if you are not born again. I plead with you to give your life to Jesus today because the longer you stay in sin and remain unsaved, the more hardened your nature becomes against the purpose and the way God wants you to be for His purpose. To give your life to Jesus now, say this prayer: “Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I know that I am a sinner and I cannot save myself but Jesus died for me and shed His blood that I might be saved. Today, I accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. Jesus, I ask You to come into my heart, be my Lord, wash me with Your blood and make me whole. I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.” I congratulate you and welcome you to the family of God if you have sincerely said that prayer. Now you are fit to discover, know and walk in your destiny. Title: Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life

(John 11:1-16). Now a man named Lazarus was sick. He was from Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha. This Mary, whose brother Lazarus now lay sick, was the same one who poured perfume on the Lord and wiped his feet with her hair. So the sisters sent word to Jesus, “Lord, the one you love is sick.” When he heard this, Jesus said, “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.” Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus.

So when he heard that Lazarus was sick, he stayed where he was two more days, and then he said to his disciples, “Let us go back to Judea.” “But Rabbi,” they said, “a short while ago the Jews there tried to stone you,and yet you are going back?”Jesus answered, “Are there not twelve hours of daylight? Anyone who walks in the daytime will not stumble, for they see by this world’s light. It is when a person walks at night that they stumble, for they have no light.”After he had said this, he went on to tell them, “Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep;but I am going there to wake him up.”His disciples replied, “Lord, if he sleeps, he will get better.” Jesus had been speaking of his death, but his disciples thought he meant natural sleep. So then he told them plainly, “Lazarus is dead, and for your sake I am glad I was not there, so that you may believe. But let us go to him.”Then Thomas also known as Didymus said to the rest of the disciples, “Let us also go, that we may die with him.”

When Lazarus died , the disciples were perplexed, wondering who might have sinned or what Lazarus did wrong. But Jesus clearly made them to understand that sickness or death did not necessarily indicate that God has rejected the person or that the person did something wrong. Neither we or our loved ones are exempted from affliction or death. Mary and Martha were Jesus close friends and also His disciples, Jesus loved them, and yet but Jesus when they called him to save their brother He did not make their call a priority, He did not rush to spare them grief. When it comes to pain and suffering in this life, both believers and unbelievers experience them the same way.Look at the life of Jesus, He suffered pain, sorrow, even experienced death. He came to show us the way of the cross, which is not easy. Our hope in Jesus doesn’t insulate us from the problems of this life, but it does provide us a way beyond this life.

God can use difficult experiences for good in our lives in many ways , one of which is to make us more compassionate servants for Him-as we comfort others. As Lazarus became so sick, his sisters look up to Jesus for deliverance, but Jesus didn’t show up until when things had gotten sour already. They didn’t murmur, they still welcomed Jesus even when He did not come as early as they expected. Wow!! How have you responded with your relationship with Christ when you have prayed and prayed, fasted and fasted still no sign that He is even hearing your prayer? Do you give up!? Do you start asking why me? What is causing this delay? Do you start looking for the answer to your prayers by seeking other gods?

As followers of Jesus let us understand that He will show up in that your problem , in Jesus own time table His delay doesn’t mean denial. He comes at His own time and When He comes, you are not the only one who will notice it. Your neighbors will know too, because He comes in a very amazing way. If Jesus was present during Lazarus sickness, He wouldn’t have died. Jesus allowed him to die so that Jesus’ power over death could be shown to His disciples and other people around.

Raising Lazarus was a very important display of His power, and the resurrection from the dead, it is a very crucial belief of the Christian Faith. Jesus resurrected from death, and is capable to resurrect people from death. We have to summon courage to wait unto Jesus when we are calling Him for one problem or the other. If we have faith in Him , He will do extraordinary. Let us have faith in God. (Hebrews 11:6) Ask God to give you the grace to remain faithful, waiting for His timing, and encourage others to stay strong in faith as you wait for Him to show up in that your affliction. Everything that is dead in your life, family, career in your marriage is resurrected today  in Jesus matchless we pray amen.

Prayers: Please Lord thank you for what you are doing in my life.Thank you father for all you have done for us.You are worthy to be praised.Help me Lord to have faith in Jesus name. I know that your glory will shine in my situation in Jesus name.Thank you Jesus.
