FAITH THE HALLMARK (1).

Read Numbers 13:30-33.

MEMORISE: And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and signs among the people (Acts 6:8).

EXPOSITION

History reveals that one of the Isreal major challenges is the problem of faith. At the edge of the red Sea, they preferred to go back to bondage (Ex. 14:11,12). At the wilderness, they saw God's inability to supply them food and claimed they were starving to death (Ex. 16:3), hence they looked back to Egypt

When they were at the border of Canaan, they complained again "we be not able to go against the people for they are more stronger than we" (Num. 13:31). All these were reflections of their faith. They didn't believe in Godly promises.

Let's put it in mind in the Christian race, it is faith that is the Hallmark that makes the difference. They ability to hold on to God in the journey of faith and the readiness to God's faithfulness in our everyday life. This is the one thing towards the long sough after Promise Land. Yet, their faith still failed. All twelve species saw the same thing physically, ten were stuck to their physical fate, but Joshua and Caleb held on to their faith in God to see things differently. Ten  men saw obstacles, stumbling blocks, defeat and discouragement but two men of faith saw victory, comfort, abundance and motivation. Like Stephen did wonders and exploits by faith while some of the other deacons were never heard about again. Let your eyes see things through faith and not fear, just keep in touch with the Author and Finisher of yi faith (Heb. 12:2), and enjoy extraordinary exploits of faith.

Yet, you can achieve the incredible, become the unimaginable, how? As a matter of FAITH, learn to follow the invisible and invincible God.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Lord Jesus, I receive the grace to live by faith in You only.

2. Lord, eliminate every element of fear against my faith.

3. Pray for believers who are struggling with their faith in God.
