Title: Let God be God in your Life
( Jeremiah 29: 11: 14) For I know the plans I have for you , “declares the Lord, “ plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future . Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and i will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, “declares the Lord. “and will bring you back from captivity.
Child of God, do you know that God has plans for you? Great plans for that matter. We did not tell God to create us, it happened that He was pleased to bring me and you to this world. It does not even matter if your parents planned for your birth or not. Your birth is not about your parents who brought you here on earth , but about God’s creation. He has plans for you , you and I are here to fulfill God’s purpose, but if we are not allowing Him to be God in our lives and situations, the purpose and His plans will be thwarted.
His plan for us is for us to have hope, future and to prosper. Like when we have children , we always want them to get the best in life. We even want them to prosper more than us, we don’t want them to struggle in life, but to have a perfect life. God desires even more than we desire for our children. But we have to allow Him to have His way in our lives. We have to surrender to His leadership. We cannot dwell in our own understanding. He knows everything about us before we were born, we cannot do well when we want to accomplish anything on our own without Him.
( Jeremiah 1:5) “Before I formed you in your mother’s womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you prophet to the nations.”. God knew you as He knew Jeremiah, long before you were born, or conceived. He thought about you and me and planned for us . When you are going through challenges of this life , do not get discouraged. Always remember that you are valuable before God. He loves you and has created you for a purpose.
The president of your country does not even know you. The governor of your state does not even know if someone like you or me exist. But the Alpha and Omega, God of gods and the Lord of lords , the maker of heaven and earth, the president of all the presidents knows you . Do you know Him? Do you acknowledge His presence in your life? ( Proverbs 3:5-7) Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him; and He will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil.
Let God be God in your life, in every circumstances. He is your creator, He is your life , He is everything for us. If we are not allowing Him to have control and guide our ways, we are missing it. He said when we obey His word, and seek Him with all our heart, He will hear us. May God help us to put Him first in our lives and continue to seek Him with all our hearts in Jesus name. . Amen.
Prayers: God please help me to make you the God of my life. Help me to seek you with all my heart in Jesus name. Help me Lord to recover and fulfill my purpose in Jesus name. Amen.
