--> Note :- Are you born again? You are never going to win the battle against the devil if you are not born again. I plead with you to give your life to Jesus today because the longer you stay in sin and remain unsaved, the more hardened your nature becomes against the purpose and the way God wants you to be for His purpose. To give your life to Jesus now, say this prayer: “Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I know that I am a sinner and I cannot save myself but Jesus died for me and shed His blood that I might be saved. Today, I accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. Jesus, I ask You to come into my heart, be my Lord, wash me with Your blood and make me whole. I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.” I congratulate you and welcome you to the family of God if you have sincerely said that prayer. Now you are fit to discover, know and walk in your destiny. MEN WITH ITCHING EARS

Read: 1 Kings 13:1-4
1 Kings 13:1-4 And behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the Lord to Bethel. Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense.
The man cried against the altar by the word of the Lord, O altar, altar, thus says the Lord: Behold, a son shall be born to the house of David, Josiah by name; and on you shall he offer the priests of the high places who burn incense on you, and men’s bones shall be burned on you.
And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This is the sign which the Lord has spoken: Behold, the altar shall be split and the ashes that are upon it shall be poured out. [Fulfilled in II Kings 23:15, 16.]
When King Jeroboam heard the words the man of God cried against the altar in Bethel, he thrust out his hand, saying, Lay hold on him! And his hand which he put forth against him dried up, so that he could not draw it to him again.
MEMORISE:
So they took up stones to throw at Him, but Jesus, by mixing with the crowd, concealed Himself and went out of the temple [enclosure]. (John 8:59)
*EXPOSITION
The biggest problem in Christendom today is the character of leaders in authority against the truth. It is a big problem because the people are just their leaders. That informs why the Apostles laid down the characteristics of would-be-Elders and leaders in the church (Acts 6:3; 1 Tim. 3:1-13; Tit. 1:7-11). Sometimes, those who are correct errors in the church, home and society are those encouraging and practicing them. God saw the abomination, especially of idolatry perpetrated by the king Jeroboam and his people and decided to warm against it.
The preacher sometimes has no problem delivering his message, but who will hear and obey it? Instead, of using their office to please God, they want to please themselves, no matter what happens to anybody. Instead of repeating from our evil ways, we want to vilify intimidate, embarrass, destroy, maim, or kill the man of God if to use it as ointment on their bodies. But when the Word comes to them, they rise vehemently against it and the one who say it. This is too bad! Well, God recompenses us according to our works. For the king Jeroboam, he got his hand withered as he pointed his dirty finger at the man of God. Did he not know that one with God is a majority (see 2kgs. 6:13-17). What are your attitudes to God, His house and His work? BEWARE AND BEWARNED!
Do you see the reactions of those who heard the word of God? The king waited to arrest the speaker (1 Kgs. 13:4), the audience heard and went ahead in stone the speaker (Acts. 7:54-60). How do you react to the Word when released unto you?
PRAYER POINTS
1. Lord, let my ears always be open to Your words — it’s is life.
2. Lord, please bring back couples who have separated for lack of understanding.
3. Lord, open the ears and hearts of our political and church leaders in all spheres to rebuke and correction so they can affect the populace positively.
