TUESDAY FEBRUARY 25, 2020
YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN!
TEXT: 1 PETER 1:18-25
Key Verse: "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever" (1 Peter 1:23).
The kingdom of God is for those who are born again. A natural man is a sinner. When he surrenders his life to Christ, he receives the life of Christ and becomes born again. He becomes a new creature who will no longer live in sin. God hates sin. A sinful child must turn away from sin before he can see God. The lyrics of a song goes thus:
"A ruler once came to Jesus by night,
To ask him the way of salvation and light;
The Master made answer in words true and plain,
Ye must be born again!" There's no other way to be saved. You must be born again! Repent of your sins and ask for forgiveness and cleansing in the blood of Jesus.
You will receive the new life in Christ. Then, you will see God in heaven, after your life on earth has ended.
Prayer: Give me a new life, oh Lord, so I will see You in heaven at last.
