ECWA DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE
FRIDAY, 31 JANUARY
TEXT: EXODUS 3: 16 – 22
TOPIC: GOD’S TIME IS THE BEST
God’s timing is always the best in every situation. He plans all things for His glory and uses us to execute them. God went further to prepare the elders of Israel to accompany Moses to the king.
God explained that the king would be adamant but assured Moses that He will show forth Himself in His mighty power so that the king will allow them to go. He equally assured Moses that the people would be favorably disposed to them so that they would not allow them to go empty handed.
All of these were preparing the Israelites to go forth and worship God. He desires our worship and always prepares us for worship as long as we are willing to do His bidding.
We must know that when His time comes to show Himself in our situation, nothing can hinder Him because He has the whole world in His hands. Let us therefore trust God to make a way for us where there seems to be no way and walk with Him into His plans for our lives.
QUESTION: Was there a time you felt that God was delaying in meeting your needs?
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I am sorry for my impatience in life, I plead that You grant me the grace to always wait for Your timing in every situation of my life, in Jesus name, Amen.
