TOPIC – Jesus: Our All In All
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Proverbs 3-5; 2 Corinthians 1
FIRE SCRIPTURE: John 15:1-15
MEMORY VERSE: “The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.” – Psalms 118:22
The MESSAGE:
Jesus Christ is the Lord of all and our All in All. He is everything to the believer whom He has bought, saved and redeemed with His precious blood. He is all-powerful, all-knowing and ever-present. He has the power to meet you at the point of your need, no matter what the need may be. Many believers are yet to proclaim Jesus Christ as their All in All. Being your All in All means He is your sufficiency. One who can do all things for you. The One you can turn to and get all your needs met without looking up to any other person, mortal or spirit. Beloved, do you know that all you need for life on earth and in eternity are available in Christ? They are!
No matter what your profession is, you can find and get help from Jesus Christ. He is the Master in all trades, occupation and professions because knowledge, wisdom and understanding all come from Him. To the forester, Jesus is the Branch (Isaiah 4:2). To the builder, Jesus is the Cornerstone (Psalm 118:22). To the welfare worker, Jesus is the Counsellor (Isaiah 9:6). To the meteorologist, Jesus is the Day Spring (Luke 1:78). To the agriculturist, Jesus is the Chief Shepherd (1 Peter 5:4). To the caterer, He is the Bread of Life (John 6:35). To the lawyer, He is the Advocate (1 John 2:1). To the carpenter, He is the Door (John 10:7). To the evangelist, He is the Faithful Witness (Revelation 1:5). To the politician, He is the Governor (Matthew 2:6). To the clergy, He is the Great High Priest (Hebrew 4:14). To the Christian, He is the Head of the Church (Ephesians 1:22). To the artist, He is the Image of God (1 Corinthians 4:4). To the soldier, He is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah (Revelation 5:5) and Man of War (Exodus 15:2). To the geologist, He is the Rock (1 Corinthians 10:4). To the electrical engineer, He is the True Light (John 1:9). To the brewer, He is the True Vine (John 15:1). To the security expert, He is the Fortress (2 Samuel 22:2). To the prayer warrior, He is the Amen (Revelation 3:14).
Is Jesus your All in all? I encourage you to remember Him in your profession. When you make Him your Source and Sufficiency, you will excel and prosper in your profession because He is the One that gives you the power to get wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18). Beloved, no matter what your profession may be, I want you to truthfully call Jesus your All in All, your ever-present Help and Sufficiency. He will manifest Himself in your life according to those names. Henceforth, I enjoin you to trust absolutely in Him and look up to Him for all your needs. Don’t look elsewhere. Don’t trust in man or princes. Jesus is faithful!
