TOPIC - BASIS FOR DIVINE HEALING
SERVICE OBJECTIVES:
  1. Understanding Divine healing
  2. Understanding the causes of ill health
  3. Understanding the scriptural basis for Divine healing
Divine healing is confirmed by Scriptures and verified in contemporary times.

WHAT IS DIVINE HEALING?
  1. Divine healing is the restoration of the body to the state of health and vitality by the Power of God
  2. Divine healing is the recovery of the body from the state of ill health or disease by the Power of God
  3. Divine healing is the repair of damaged system or organ by the Power of God
DIMENSIONS OF DIVINE HEALING:
  1. The reversal of disease process (Acts 10:38)
  2. The rebuke and release of afflicting spirits (Acts 10:38; Luke 4:38-39)
  3. The repair of damaged body parts (John 4:52)
  4. The replacement of destroyed body parts (Matt. 15:30-31)
  5. Restoration to original state (2Kings 5:14)
THE CAUSES OF ILL HEALTH:
  1. Enemy attack (afflictions or oppressions) (Acts 10:38: Luke 4:38-39; Ps. 107:20)
  2. Sinful activity (Ps. 107:17; 119:67; 103:1-3; Mark 2:5; Jam. 5:14-16)
  3. Personal negligence or carelessness (Ps. 107:17; Acts 27:34)
    When natural laws are broken, the consequence can be ill health. For example, when people neglect hygienic practices it can bring ill health.
  4. Negative emotion (Prov. 17:22; 14:30; Heb. 12:15)
    The state of your mind affects the state of your health.
  5. Inherited liabilities (Parental/ancestral transfers) (1Pet. 1:18; Gen. 29:31; 25:21; 11:30; Gal. 3:13-14)
THE BASIS FOR DIVINE HEALING:
  1. God the Father identifies Himself as the Physician of His people (Ex. 15:26)
  2. God the Father promised His people restoration for their health as often as it would be needed (Ps. 103:1-3; 107:20; Jer. 30:17)
  3. The Master Jesus is identified as the Healer (Heb. 13:8; Acts 10:38; Matt. 14:14)
  4. The Holy Spirit is identified as Channel of Divine healing (Acts 10:38; Mark 6:13; 1Sam. 16:13)
  5. The church leaders have a God-given responsibility for the healing of the sick in Church (Jam. 5:14-15)
CONCLUSION:
  1. Divine healing is both a possibility and a reality today
  2. Every avoidable cause of ill health must be avoided for the sustenance of healing and health
  3. Strong faith for Divine healing and health must be developed through the possession of strong scriptural revelation

Father, I receive my miracle today
PRAYER FOR THE TEACHERS/TEACHING PROFESSION:
Father, visit the teaching profession in Nigeria and around the world and give us a reformation oh Lord in Jesus’ Name.
Father, visit our government to make policies favourable for the distinction of education in Nigeria, in Jesus’ Name.
Father, breathe upon the teaching profession in Nigeria and upon the teachers here present, use them to impact their generation, and Father uplift them and positon them where they belong, in Jesus’ Name.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS FOR THE TEACHING PROFESSION:
  • May God lift your head and engrace you to impact your profession and impact the children that will come in contact with you!
  • May God position you where you belong. You will be a light in your career and you will be positioned in the right place!
  • We use you as a point of contact for a revolution in our education system!
  • May God use you to bring about policies that will revolutionise the teaching profession and the education system in Nigeria.
ANOINTING FOCUS (JEREMIAH 8:22; ISAIAH 10:27):
  • I take authority over every satanic yoke, witchcraft yoke, sickness and disease, inherited liability, everything working on your life not of God, by this anointing, it is broken!
  • By the authority if the One that releases the Balm in Gilead, I declare your liberty today in Jesus’ Name!
  • Today is the day the burden is lifted from off your shoulder and the yoke destroyed by reason of the Anointing
