April 22, 2019 Spirit Meat Daily Devotional : Topic - SEPARATION FOR ELEVATION (2) [John 13:22-26, John 19:26-17]

--> Note :- Are you born again? You are never going to win the battle against the devil if you are not born again. I plead with you to give your life to Jesus today because the longer you stay in sin and remain unsaved, the more hardened your nature becomes against the purpose and the way God wants you to be for His purpose. To give your life to Jesus now, say this prayer: “Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I know that I am a sinner and I cannot save myself but Jesus died for me and shed His blood that I might be saved. Today, I accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. Jesus, I ask You to come into my heart, be my Lord, wash me with Your blood and make me whole. I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.” I congratulate you and welcome you to the family of God if you have sincerely said that prayer. Now you are fit to discover, know and walk in your destiny. Among all the disciples of Jesus, John the beloved had the greatest revelation (he wrote the book of Revelations) because he was always walking in that separation. He leaned on the chest of Jesus and he was the one that Jesus told the name of the one who would betray him, even Peter did not know.

When Jesus said one of His disciples would betray Him, they asked, “Am I the one?” The Bible says Peter told the one that leaned on his breast and said, “Ask Him!”, and Jesus told John directly. He didn’t even tell the others. At the cross, after every other disciple had left, John stood, waiting and Jesus, hanging on the cross, saw John and saw his mother and said, “Son, behold your mother, Mother, behold your son.”
If you want to be elevated, then you must be separated. Too many people just like the crowd; they have a “crowd mentality”. Sometimes God calls you to be separate from the crowd. He says: “Come apart, I want to talk to you, I want to lift you up”. People don’t allow God to separate them, so they remain small and they blame the devil.
When Elisha was going to receive the anointing, he separated himself from the sons of the prophets and began to follow Elijah. He was the one pouring water on the hands of the man of God. They mocked him and laughed at him and all of that but he was in the separation for the anointing. If you want the anointing, then you must be separated. Before John saw the book of Revelations, he was separated from people.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive grace to pay the necessary and ultimate sacrifice of separation for my next level in Jesus’ name. Amen!
