TOPIC - The Atmosphere of Worship
SCRIPTURE: One day as these men were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Dedicate Barnabas and Saul for the special work to which I have called them.” Acts 13:2-3 (NLT)

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When we pray,”we look for God but when we worship, God looks for us.
It is evident from the anchor Scripture that the Holy Spirit spoke to the apostles while they were worshipping God. Worship, therefore, provokes the Voice of God. The atmosphere of praise and worship is the atmosphere of God’s voice.
What then is the significance of the atmosphere of praise and worship?
a) The atmosphere of praise and worship is the atmosphere of God’s presence (Acts 13″:1-3 NLT).
b) The atmosphere of praise and worship is the atmosphere of joy and merriment (Acts 2:47).
c) The atmosphere of praise and worship is the atmosphere of deliverance (Acts 16:25-29)
d) The atmosphere of praise and worship is the atmosphere of glory (2 Chronicles 7:1-3)
e) The atmosphere of praise and worship is the atmosphere of heaven on earth (Psalm 22:3).
The atmosphere of worship is the atmosphere of God’s presence. God is at home where praise is available. The atmosphere of celebration is the habitation of Jehovah. When we pray,”we look for God but when we worship, God looks for us.
Now, where God is present, two things happen”:
1) God’s presence transmits healing power (Acts 10:38).
2) The presence of God is destructive of the works of the enemy (Psalm 114:1-8).
Beloved,”make up your mind to be habitually soaked in the deep worship of God. When you do this, the Presence of God would arrest every activity of the enemy around your life.
Remember this”: When we pray,”we look for God but when we worship, God looks for us.
