QUOTE OF THE DAY: “THE MORE YOU TAKE CHANCE, THE BRIGHTER YOUR CHANCE”
Memory Verse: “I
have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or
the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to
the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to
them all”
Ecclesiastes 9:11.
To take
chance is to embrace the uncertainty of outcomes and realize that chance
can play for you or against you on any given day. It also means to
stay open for unexpected opportunities. You have been affected enough
by quirks of fate. Great jobs are found or ignored depending on who read
its adverts that day.
New opportunities are glimpsed or missed
depending on who is paying attention. But
the more you take chance, the greater the likelihood of success.
Anything left to chance or fate may never happen, it is only when you
take chances as they present themselves that your chance gets
brightened.
The blind Bartimeaus would have died as a blind person if
not that he took the chance that Jesus was passing through Jericho to
launch out his request violently and persistently.
Zacchaeus, was
another man that took the advantage of Jesus passing through Jericho so
as to see him. Ordinarily, everything was against Zacchaeus, but the
only opportunity he had, he utilized it maximally.
