QUOTE OF THE DAY: “IN THE FACE OF PROVOCATION, WISDOM SMILES AND WALK AWAY”
ANCHOR TEXT: “A gentle answer turns away wrath,  but a harsh word stirs up anger”
Proverbs 15:1.

The word ‘soft’ in today’s quote means tender, gentle.  No one loves to be weak especially when it comes to defending oneself in the face of provocation. Humanly speaking, every man would rather justify himself and wants to be seen as being on the right path. 
Of course, no one wants to be wronged without fighting back but the point is, if the other party is not heretic, destructive but only immatured, then a tender, soft answer might help him or her see things in a better way.Dishing out anger in response to provocation usually has grave consequences. 
Harsh words naturally stir up anger. Words with sharp edges imply threats of retaliation and can lead to physical confrontation. The tongue; if not tamed can plunge trouble and battles. 
The power of good or evil that lies in the tongue can either make or mar you. This is where you need God’s wisdom to apply the good aspect of the tongue to situations per time. 
A kind and gracious word will disarm a most ill-tempered and wrathful man; imbibe it.
