Galatians 5:22-23.

Every human being on the surface of the earth has the same human nature which is simply termed common humanity. We have bodies, minds, we think, we feel, we touch, we smell, we eat and do other things that are peculiar to living being. But despite the similarities, there are notable differences also. 
We have different ways of thinking, reasoning, feeling, acting, responding and so on. Our personality differs. By personality, I mean the combination of characteristics and qualities that form an individual character. One’s nature, disposition to things, temperament etc all comes together to say a lot about one’s person.  
Therefore, you need to work on who you are to be a better person. How you relate with people around you speaks volume of who you are and it is who or what you are that will either attract or repel people from you. Be a man/woman of good character.Personality springs from the heart. 
The emotion humans display is from the heart. For you to love genuinely, the heart is involved (Matthew 22:37), for unity and gladness, the heart cannot be left out (Acts 2:46). To hate on the other hand also emanates from the heart (Matthew 15:19) likewise division and strife (1 Corinthians 1:10; 3:3). 
The heart is the seat of personality, hence the need to guide it against pollution of this world.
