CAC Living Water Daily Devotional Guide For July 10, 2018 : TOPIC - FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE

--> Note :- Are you born again? You are never going to win the battle against the devil if you are not born again. I plead with you to give your life to Jesus today because the longer you stay in sin and remain unsaved, the more hardened your nature becomes against the purpose and the way God wants you to be for His purpose. To give your life to Jesus now, say this prayer: “Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I know that I am a sinner and I cannot save myself but Jesus died for me and shed His blood that I might be saved. Today, I accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. Jesus, I ask You to come into my heart, be my Lord, wash me with Your blood and make me whole. I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.” I congratulate you and welcome you to the family of God if you have sincerely said that prayer. Now you are fit to discover, know and walk in your destiny. TOPIC
FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE
Read Genesis 1:26--30

 MEMORISE
Then God said, " Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birth of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth "( Genesis 1:26).

EXPOSITION
The renowned Economist, Robins Lionel opines that," Man's needs are insatiable. " This means that man is inherently unsatisfied. Is that the way he had been created? This manifests at every point in time. Although, this may seem to be natural, yet, a deep spiritual look at it educates the children of God to take caution. Why? This is to prevent comparison of ourselves with others. The creation story makes us to realise how our God made man uniquely and extraordinarily. We were created to have dominion over all other creatures. How grateful our hearts should be for knowing this?

You, as an image of God, have no duplicate, photography or carbon copy. You are special, peculiar and unique in all characteristics ramifications (1 Pet. 2:9). Your life should be more than grateful to God for these undeserving qualities. You should go ahead to benefit mankind and God's kingdom with these sterling attributes (1 Pet.2:10-11).

The image of God in us make a whole lot of difference between us and other creatures, and physical, spiritual, social and psychological nature that God endows us with, should make us see ourselves as God's unique artistic impression. We should regularly return to our Maker for, and because of everything in recognition and appreciation of Him being our Creator who has graciously chosen to share some of His wonderful attributes with us as His image.

Know this: When you resort to comparison of yourself to another, you are not only being unfair, but a stark ingrate! Avoid doing this totally. Remember that you are fearfully and wonderfully made to the glory of God.

  PRAYER POINTS
1. Oh Lord, I am grateful for being fearfully and wonderfully created by You.
2.  I refuse to begin to compare myself with other creatures, or to want to be like them or condescend to their level, in Jesus' name.
3. Lord Jesus, help us to always bring glory to You in the way we conduct ourselves around on this planet, as Your own people.
