CAC Living Water Daily Devotional Guide For June 18, 2018 : TOPIC - WITH GOD, NO CUL-DE-SAC

--> Note :- Are you born again? You are never going to win the battle against the devil if you are not born again. I plead with you to give your life to Jesus today because the longer you stay in sin and remain unsaved, the more hardened your nature becomes against the purpose and the way God wants you to be for His purpose. To give your life to Jesus now, say this prayer: “Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I know that I am a sinner and I cannot save myself but Jesus died for me and shed His blood that I might be saved. Today, I accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. Jesus, I ask You to come into my heart, be my Lord, wash me with Your blood and make me whole. I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.” I congratulate you and welcome you to the family of God if you have sincerely said that prayer. Now you are fit to discover, know and walk in your destiny. TOPIC - WITH GOD,  NO CUL-DE-SAC
Read Esther 4:10--17

MEMORISE

But Jesus looked at them and said to them, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. "  (  Matthew 19:26)

EXPOSITION

Cul-de-sac  is a road with no exit at the end, often in a residential area (a close). In a deeper sense, it is a situation in which further progress is impossible.
David, in his lifetime, encountered so many difficulties that would have given him setbacks in his life's journey. Many at times, as if he had come to the end of the road, there were situations that pressed hard on him. At a point, he was in great despair. He felt as if the whole world was against him. In the situation, he consulted his friend ( Jonathan ) for the way out. They inquired of the Lord through certain strategy and it was plainly shown that if David did not leave that arena, Saul could kill him. This led to David fleeing from King Saul, with the help of Jonathan, Saul's supposed heir to the throne  (1Sam  20:1ff ).

How is it with you, presently?  God forbids that you are beginning to think of committing suicide. Beheading isn't the solution to a migraine. No matter how bleak the situation might look, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Nothing shall be impossible with God (  Matt. 17:20; 19:26;  Lk. 1:37).
Whenever you are in a situation like this, you need not to rush. Ask God for the way out and forward, and ask for good, godly, and relevant pieces of advice from godly persons who can direct you aright. Please, do not give up  (Job 13:15). David, Esther and Mordecai overcame;  you will also overcome, however tense the situation may be.

Life challenges are not forever;  they come and go. Bother not, God is on your side  (1 Cor. 15:57). He knows how to make the much desired way where there seems to be no way. This won't be the end of the road for you, as long as you trust in and hold unto Him.

 PRAYER POINTS

1. Worship our Lord for His power to turn your situations around, positively, because nothing is impossible with Him.
2. Ask Him to graciously manifest His unfailing power over specific situations in your life, right now.
3. Pray for Christian students in higher institutions, who are being threatened by lecturers /instructors to make life difficult for them if they won't succumb to the lecturers' unholy demands.

EXTRA READING FOR TODAY:
1 Chronicles 12--14  & Philippians 1

Just call on Him now over your unpleasant situations!
