DAILY MEAL DEVOTIONAL FOR APRIL 6, 2018 : TOPIC - THE FUTILITY OF SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS
DAILY MEAL
FRIDAY 6TH APRIL 2018
TOPIC: THE FUTILITY OF SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS
MEDITATION SCRIPTURE: 1 Corinthians 10:12
Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
SCRIPTURE READING: MATHEW 23:23-36
OPENING RHEMA: THEY THAT UNDERSTANDS GRACE NEVER BOAST IN SELF: THEY THAT BOAST IN SELF SLOWLY ROLLS OUT OF GRACE.
MESSAGE
don’t every think you are the most holy one. don’t every think it is by your power you are standing or just by your works of righteousness.
"LET HIM THAT THINK THAT HE STANDS TAKES HEED LETS BE FALL.” Never be carried away by what you have achieved never be carried away by what you have done.
To live by self is to be carried by flesh. Don't ever think you are better than another. Don't ever downgrade another. No man is an island. It's very easy to be proud and difficult to be humble. The road to destruction comes through distraction. You are never what you are just by what you have done, there is an element of divine functionality and the help of someone.
The moment you think too highly of yourself compared to another, you compound the reality of the future God has destined for you.
Appreciate and do not take for granted whom God has connected to your life for to the spiritually minded there is no coincidence or mistake by God. Self-righteousness leads to self-destruction. It is by the pride of life man paid the price for eternal death. The moment you condemn another you have taken the place of the devil because the devil is the accuser of the brethren.
PRAYERS
LORD JESUS MORE OF YOY AND NONE OF ME. LET ME DECREASE AND INCREASE THROUGH ME. OH LORD YOUR WILL AND NOT MINE.
CLOSING RHEMA: THE MOMENT YOU THINK TOO HIGHLY OF YOURSELF COMPARED TO ANOTHER, YOU COMPOUND THE REALITY OF THE FUTURE GOD HAS DESTINED FOR YOU.
