Spirit Meat Daily Devotional for March 28, 2018 By Rev Olusola Areogun: Topic - TRUE WORSHIPPERS DISSOCIATE FROM THE ENEMIES OF GOD [2 CHRONICLES 19:1-3, 2 KINGS 3:13-14]

--> Note :- Are you born again? You are never going to win the battle against the devil if you are not born again. I plead with you to give your life to Jesus today because the longer you stay in sin and remain unsaved, the more hardened your nature becomes against the purpose and the way God wants you to be for His purpose. To give your life to Jesus now, say this prayer: “Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I know that I am a sinner and I cannot save myself but Jesus died for me and shed His blood that I might be saved. Today, I accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. Jesus, I ask You to come into my heart, be my Lord, wash me with Your blood and make me whole. I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.” I congratulate you and welcome you to the family of God if you have sincerely said that prayer. Now you are fit to discover, know and walk in your destiny. Spirit Meat Daily Devotional for March 28, 2018: Topic - TRUE WORSHIPPERS DISSOCIATE FROM THE ENEMIES OF GOD [2 CHRONICLES 19:1-3, 2 KINGS 3:13-14]

If you have a family member who always speaks against God and you are still in constant relationship with such a person, you are not a true worshipper. The person that has no regard for God is not supposed to be your best friend; separate yourself from them. That was the problem Jehoshaphat had - he had affinity with Ahab and almost lost his life when he went with Ahab to battle in 2 Chronicles 18.
As he was returning from the battle, God sent a prophet to meet him on the way and the prophet said “shouldest thou hatest them that hate the Lord?” And what happened? God was displeased with him (2 Chronicles 19:1-3). Every other thing was okay with Jehoshaphat but he loved those who hated the Lord and in that regard, he was not a true worshipper. A true worshipper will separate himself from them that hate the Lord.
You will see from 2 Kings 3:13-14, that Elisha did not regard Ahab’s son when he came to see him, even though he was the king of Israel. He looked in his direction only for Jehoshaphat’s sake. This is true worship, when you stand for truth and righteousness. Always stand for the will of God to prevail on the earth and when you find a man that is so engrossed in wickedness and corruption, he should not earn your respect. I have seen Christians who run around people that are so corrupt, given to iniquity, who hate God and are profane all in the name of the financial benefits they get from these wicked men. Such Christians are not true worshippers of God. If you truly worship the God that such men detest and work against, you won’t respect them.

PRAYER: Lord, I take a stand with you and make a choice to rather honour you than respect a man who detest you in Jesus’ name. Amen!
