Title: All Glory to Our God
(Isaiah 42:5-9) This is what God the Lord says- The creator of heavens, who stretches them out, who spreads out the earth with all that springs from it, who gives breath to its people, and life to those who walk on it: “I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness. “ I am the Lord; that is my name! I will not yield my glory to another or my praise to idols. See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare; before they spring into being I announced them to you.
The God we serve is a God who is loving and kind. When you are in need of Him, when you call Him for help, He does not treat you like you are nobody, but brings himself down to your level to feel what you are feeling and sees what you see, then He will answer you and deliver you. God is loving, the world needs His love very seriously today. We are in the world representing Jesus , let us reflect His love to the world by treating our neighbors like Jesus will treat them.
When Jesus was in the world He went about doing good , healing the sick, feeding the poor, showing love and kindness to the people. We call ourselves Christ followers, but we are doing the opposite of what He did. God called us to serve Him. We are supposed to be radiating the light of God to the world. Look at the wickedness in the world today. Am sure Christ is disappointed on us when He sees what the so called followers of His are doing.,, . We are into scamming business, kidnappings, ritualism , occultism, stealing, full of hatred, trying to equate ourselves with God, disobedient, etc.
Today we use the name of God to do all sorts of nonsense, to get power, to get firm, to get money. We don’t care about where what we are doing will lead us to. He said He called us in righteousness, He said He will not yield His glory to another. Child of God, the life you are living now does it glorify God? That business you are doing , does it glorify God? Are you working to please God? He called you in righteousness not in sin. If you are answering a Christian, are you following the foot steps of our master? Have you asked yourself if what you are doing is pleasing God? Do not think that after you have died that everything has ended. Remember, there is life after death, what is the next thing after death? (Hebrews 9:27) My beloved, you should be worried about what happens after you close your eyes in death. If you don’t think about that, then you are not helping yourself. May God help us to live a life that will glorify God in Jesus name.
Prayers: God help me to understand my calling in Jesus name. Father help me to seek you first in my life in Jesus name. Help me oh! Lord help me to live a life that will glorify you name in Jesus name.
