Title: If God is Your Refuge Don’t Be Afraid.
(Psalm 91:9-16) If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, no disaster will come near your tent. For He will command His Angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. Because He loves me, “says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect Him; for He acknowledges my name. He will call me on , and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation”.
If we trust in God, and make Him our dwelling, if we should make the Most High God our dwelling, He said no evil shall come near us. He will provide everlasting protection unto us. If we call Him He will answer us. For us to get this protection we must entrust lives to His mighty hand, and pledge our daily devotional to Him, we should continue to acknowledge Our safety by the power in the blood of Jesus.
The Bible says God will command His Angels concerning us, to lift us up so we cannot strike our feet against a stone. Let us understand the magnitude of the protection we have when we say that God Almighty is our refuge. It does not matter if the earth is quaking, no matter what is happening in our environment, we are surely protected. Because we love Him, He says He will rescue us. Isn’t that marvelous? I mean, all these protections and these promises will take place in our lives if we make Him our dwelling.
He said He will be with us in trouble, He said He will deliver us and honor us. Wow!! The Lord is good. He also said He will satisfy us with long life!. Brethren, let us reactivate our fellowship and relationship with our maker. The problem we have is that we don’t totally trust in the power of His majesty. Many times we say we believe in the Lord but our faith is not strong in Him. Some of us believe but we have trust in other gods, all those gods are powerless power god. They will promise to protect you but, they don’t have the capability to stand against the power of god, so their protection has no meaning.
Everything we are looking for is embedded in the Lord . He got us in His merciful hand. (Matthew 10:30) And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. He knows the number of the hairs on our heads. He knows all the parts of our bodies and all the systems, and their functions. These are the reasons why we should put all our trust on Him, make Him our dwelling place, and our refuge, when we do that we will be tightly secured in Him. He said in time of trouble He will be with us. See He did not tell us that there will be no trouble. We live in a dangerous world and dangerous days. He promised to be with us and give us His salvation. I pray we all surrender all to Him In Jesus name.
Prayers: please use the whole of Psalm 91 for your prayers this morning and believe on His promises and it shall be well with us in Jesus name.
