--> Note :- Are you born again? You are never going to win the battle against the devil if you are not born again. I plead with you to give your life to Jesus today because the longer you stay in sin and remain unsaved, the more hardened your nature becomes against the purpose and the way God wants you to be for His purpose. To give your life to Jesus now, say this prayer: “Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I know that I am a sinner and I cannot save myself but Jesus died for me and shed His blood that I might be saved. Today, I accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. Jesus, I ask You to come into my heart, be my Lord, wash me with Your blood and make me whole. I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.” I congratulate you and welcome you to the family of God if you have sincerely said that prayer. Now you are fit to discover, know and walk in your destiny. THE PRAYER GOD CANNOT ANSWER (III)

Read: Isaiah 59:1-8

Isaiah 59:1-8  Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:

But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.

None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.

They hatch cockatrice' eggs, and weave the spider's web: he that eateth of their eggs dieth, and that which is crushed breaketh out into a viper.

Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands.

Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.

The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.

MEMORISE:

Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that cannot save, Nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear, But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear (Isaiah 59:1-2).

EXPOSITION

God loves all people, including the sinners. But He hates sin. Jesus coming to the world to die on the Cross of Calvary was mainly based on the love God has for the world (John 3:16; Rom. 5:8). We gain access to the throne of mercy through the death of Jesus Christ (Matt. 27:51). Nevertheless, the grace we have to have access to the presence of God does not overrule the standard of God to appear before Him (Rom. 6:1-2).

God's standard to appear before Him is holiness: "Pursue peace with all people and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord" (Heb. 12:14). Nothing in heaven and no earth can prevent God from hearing your prayer. It is only you that can do that. No demon or evil power can hinder you from gaining access to the presence of God. It is you yourself that can do it. How?It is your iniquities which separate you from God and your sins which have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear your prayer. You cannot be an enemy of God by undermining His grace, yet be a "prayer warrior" (Rom. 6:1). The Scripture says, "One who turns away his ear from hearing the law, Even his prayer is an abomination" (Prov. 28:9).

Holiness is the first Master Key to open the door to the throne of mercy. To be holy, is to set yourself apart for God. It is to do away with sin and continue to keep the commandments of God (Rom. 13:8-10; I John 3:21-22). OLIVING WATER🌊 CAC DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE

It is to do away with sin and continue to keep the commandments of God (Rom. 13:8-10; I John 3:21-22). Obedience is indeed better than sacrifice. If we bring back this statement to New Testament time, we will say that obedience is better than prayer, Prayer is like the Old Testament's sacrifice.if you don't learn to obey, your prayer (sacrifice) has no value before God. "The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, But the prayer of the upright is His delight" (Prov. 15:8).

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Lord, give me lasting victory over the lifestyle of sin that can create a gap between You and I.

2. Lord, strength my conscience to do away with the works of the flesh.

3. Say the prayer of repentance for the professing Christians to enjoy the goodness of God.
