--> Note :- Are you born again? You are never going to win the battle against the devil if you are not born again. I plead with you to give your life to Jesus today because the longer you stay in sin and remain unsaved, the more hardened your nature becomes against the purpose and the way God wants you to be for His purpose. To give your life to Jesus now, say this prayer: “Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I know that I am a sinner and I cannot save myself but Jesus died for me and shed His blood that I might be saved. Today, I accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. Jesus, I ask You to come into my heart, be my Lord, wash me with Your blood and make me whole. I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.” I congratulate you and welcome you to the family of God if you have sincerely said that prayer. Now you are fit to discover, know and walk in your destiny. BY YOUR WORDS

Read: Matthew 12:31-37

Matthew 12:31-37 Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.

And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

“Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree bad and its fruit bad, for the tree is known by its fruit.

You brood of vipers! How can you speak good, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

The good person out of his good treasure brings forth good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure brings forth evil.

I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak,

For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

MEMORISE:

"for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” (Matthew 12:37).

EXPOSITION

On a day that we are globally commemorating the Mother Language, let us talk about the impact of words in man's life. Adversities are such that can cause one to speak  wrongly. A woman in labour is a vivid example (Jn.16:2). Several other besetting evils and temptations, can cause and aggravate lock-ins and shutdowns, unexpected; of which Christians aren't sometimes exempted. We are, by our calling as saints or holy people, expected to exercise restraint in our responses to such unpleasant issues, most especially, by what we say.

Since the time of God's dealing with man, He has NEVER for once tolerated unguarded, and especially intentional spurious speeches against His person. Not even did the Apostles tolerate this, as manifest in their epistles. For example: Peter ( 1 Pet.2:1-3;3:9,10;2Pet.2:10-13); John (1 Jn.5:16,17; 3 Jn.9:,10; Rev.13:3-7;19:19,20); Paul (cf.1 Tim.1:19,20); James (Jas.3:1-12).

The level and degree of insolence plus blasphemy by which our generation profanes the things of God is unexplainable. Theses things are more perpetrated by so-called educated and bonafide untouchable Church elites, and through the Social Media which is more or less at the fingertip of all and sundry.

Hiding under misinterpreted grace of God through Christ Jesus to insult and humiliate one's Maker is suicidal. This indulgence was sternly punished even in the Old Testament (Lev.24:10-16,23). Even negative confessions against oneself is culpable (Num.14:28).

Beware of what you say in this time of worldwide trials and individual cross-carrying as you pass through the wilderness of life to the glorious land of promise. Repent today of all your past excesses in words against your Maker, His holy works, servants and institutions. He is ever willing and ready to forgive you. Read Apostle Paul's confession (1 Tim.1:12-17)

PRAYER POINTS

1. Thank God for saving you.

2. Confess your verbal transgression against God and His people/things, and plead for His forgiveness, cleansing, and justification through the blood of Jesus.

3. Pray that every rebellious tendencies among church members and leaders would die by the fire of the Lord, in Jesus name.
