C.A.C Sunday School Manual For February 28, 2021, Lesson Three : Topic - God in Administration of Egypt

--> Note :- Are you born again? You are never going to win the battle against the devil if you are not born again. I plead with you to give your life to Jesus today because the longer you stay in sin and remain unsaved, the more hardened your nature becomes against the purpose and the way God wants you to be for His purpose. To give your life to Jesus now, say this prayer: “Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I know that I am a sinner and I cannot save myself but Jesus died for me and shed His blood that I might be saved. Today, I accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. Jesus, I ask You to come into my heart, be my Lord, wash me with Your blood and make me whole. I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.” I congratulate you and welcome you to the family of God if you have sincerely said that prayer. Now you are fit to discover, know and walk in your destiny. CHRIST APOSTOLIC CHURCH WORLDWIDE

SUNDAY SCHOOL LESSON (KINGDOM OF GOD FAMILY)
PREVIEW CLASS
THEME: GOD IN THE ADMINISTRATION OF MAN (II)
TOPIC: GOD IN THE ADMINISTRATION OF EGYPT
DIVISION II.
February 28th, 2021.
II. PLANTS MOSES STRATEGICALLY (Exodus 1-14)
Strategy is a military term used in advancing their defence course. God is the mighty Warrior, mighty Man in battle. Because He had some battles to make against a reigning king who chose to recalcitrant be His enemy, and of His people, God strategically prepared a warlord in Moses, raised in the palace of His enemy, unsuspectingly, and later unleashed on His self-made enemy, Pharaoh. What a powerful strategy that was!
A. CONFOUNDS PHARAOH'S WICKED MATERNITY POLICY (1:6 3:1ff)
God always have a strategy to fulfill His plan and nobody can stop Him.
Exodus 1:9,10: Pharaoh was afraid the Israelites were becoming so numerous that they would organize and threaten his kingdom, so he made them slaves and oppressed them to kill their spirit and stop their growth. Slavery was an ancient practice used by almost all nations to employ conquered people and other captives. Most likely, the great pyramids of Egypt were built with slave labour. Although Israel was not a conquered nation, the people were foreigners and thus lacked the rights of native Egyptians.
Exodus 1:15-17: Shiphrah and Pual may have been supervisors over the midwives, or else these two were given special mention. Hebrew midwives helped women give birth and cared for the baby until the mother was stronger. When Pharaoh ordered the midwives to kill the Hebrew baby boys, he was asking the wrong group of people. Midwives were committed to helping babies be born, not to killed them. These women showed great courage and love for God by risking their lives to disobey Pharaoh's command.
Exodus 1:17-21: Against Pharaoh's orders, the midwives spared the Hebrew babies. Their faith in God gave them the courage to take a stand for what they knew was right. In this situation, disobeying the authority was proper. God does not expect us to obey those in authority when they ask us to disobey him or his Word. The Bible is filled with examples of those who were willing to sacrifice their very lives in order to obey God or save others. Esther and Mordecai (Esther 3:2; 4:13-16) and Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego (Daniel 3:16-28) are some of the people who took a bold stand for what was right. Slavery, prison cruelty); thus following the majority or the authority is not always right. Whenever we are ordered to disobey God's Word, we must "obey God rather than any human authority" (Acts 5:29).
Exodus 1:19-21: Did God bless the Hebrew midwives for lying to Pharaoh? God blessed them not because they lied but because they saved the lives of innocent children. This doesn't mean that a lie was necessarily the best way to answer Pharaoh. The midwives were blessed, however, for not violating the higher law of God that forbids the senseless slaughter of innocent lives.
Bringing the issue of order from the leader in this dispensation is a great issue.
The question
* Is it possible to obey all our leaders instructions even if it's not in line with the will of God?
* Most leaders would not give you strategies and financial support to grow your church but they mandated it that you should pay dues. If you focus on the church growth without demanding any feel from the few members hope the leaders won't see it as disobedience?
* What can a young minister do if the senior pastor who help me to become a pastor asked him to go and raised found for him in order to support his birthday or children school fee. And this young minister knew too well that it is not the will of God?
God always have a perfect way to discover and adopted by those people who may stand against him. Just like how he did it for Moses in the house of Pharaoh.
What the wicked Pharaoh feared that made him commit such a great crime against humanity eventually befell him, as the deliverer he did not want was raised right in his palace, under his nostrils. What a mighty strategist our God is!
B. CRUSHES PHARAOH'S STUBBORNNESS (Exodus 2:16 14:30)
Then the waters returned and covered the chariots, the horsemen, and all the army of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them. Not so much as one of them remained (14:28)
Exodus 2:15-25: To rescue punishment for killing the Egyptian, Moses ran away to Midian. He became a stranger in a strange land, separated from his home and family. It took many years after this incident for Moses to be ready to serve God. But he trusted God instead of fearing the king (Hebrews 11:27). We may feel abandoned or isolated because of something we have done. But though we feel afraid and separated, we should not give up. Moses didn't. He trusted God to deliver him, no matter how dark his past or bleak his future.
2:17: How did Moses handle these shepherds so easily? As an Egyptian prince, Moses would have been well trained in the Egyptian military, the most advanced army in the world. Even a large group of shepherds would have been no match for the sophisticated fighting techniques of this trained warrior.
2:23-25: God's rescue doesn't always come the moment we want it. God had promised to bring the Hebrew slaves out of Egypt (Genesis 15:16; 46:3, 4). The people had waited a long time for that promise to be kept, but God rescued them when he knew the right time had come. God knows the best time to act. When you feel that God has forgotten you in your troubles remember that God has a time schedule we can't see.
Before Pharaoh could realized he was fighting a battle he had lost, it was too late for him. No one has prevailed and would ever prevail against God, no matter the situation and how hard he/she tries. So, if you are on His side, you are indomitable.
LESSONS DERIVED
1. God always shows His supremacy over and above all things or persons, whether man acknowledged it or not. The programme that Pharaoh opposed was eventually run in his palace.
2. God's purpose cannot be aborted. Anyone who chooses to obey God would be used by Him. Whosoever chooses to destroy God's programme would end up destroying himself.
QUESTIONS
1. How did God show Himself in the administration of Egypt?
2. Explain the reason God had to take such drastic and noticeable steps in the land of Egypt. Any practical lesson for us, today?
Please your contributions would be appreciated. Read and say something. We are all learning. God bless you.
