September 20, 2019 Anglican Daily Fountain Devotional : TOPIC - God Shall Supply All Our Needs

--> Note :- Are you born again? You are never going to win the battle against the devil if you are not born again. I plead with you to give your life to Jesus today because the longer you stay in sin and remain unsaved, the more hardened your nature becomes against the purpose and the way God wants you to be for His purpose. To give your life to Jesus now, say this prayer: “Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I know that I am a sinner and I cannot save myself but Jesus died for me and shed His blood that I might be saved. Today, I accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. Jesus, I ask You to come into my heart, be my Lord, wash me with Your blood and make me whole. I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.” I congratulate you and welcome you to the family of God if you have sincerely said that prayer. Now you are fit to discover, know and walk in your destiny. TOPIC - God Shall Supply All Our Needs
READ: Philippians 4:12-23 King James Version (KJV)
12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
14 Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.
15 Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.
16 For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.
17 Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.
18 But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.
19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
20 Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
21 Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you.
22 All the saints salute you, chiefly they that are of Caesar’s household.
23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. (To the Philippians written from Rome, by Epaphroditus.)
THE MESSAGE:
Paul informed the Philippians that he had learnt in all things and in all situations to be content. This is a state of happiness and satisfaction (1Timothy 6:6). He stated that he could do all things through Christ who strengthened him. The Philippians made themselves sharers with Paul in his affliction, by contributing to his need over and over again (verses 15, 16). He appreciated the gifts given him by calling it the odour of a sweet smell drawn from their gifts which were not so much to Paul, as to God (Matthew 25:40). These gifts to God “came up for a memorial” (Acts 10:4), sweet-smelling in God’s presence (Genesis 8:21; Revelation 8:3,4) and a sacrifice acceptable (Hebrews 13:16). Paul affirmed that God would reward their bounty to HIS servant, by “fully supplying” their every “need” (verse 19; 2 Corinthians 9:8) according to His riches in glory.
Many people want blessings from God without fulfilling the conditions set by Him. Deuteronomy 28:1-2 says otherwise. Many lay claim to the promises in Philippians 4:19 without knowing it was a prayer prayed by a father showing gratitude for what his children had done for him. Paul was praying out of burden for them. How can you receive when you have not sown? Learn to sow into the lives of genuine men of God and the needy and God will supply all your needs. What have you given to expect a supply?
PRAYER: Lord, make me a giver to the work of the kingdom so that I may enjoy the full benefits of giving.
