TOPIC - From Lodebar to the Palace (II) 
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Psalm 72-73; Romans 9:1-15
FIRE SCRIPTURE: 2 Samuel 9:9-13
MEMORY VERSE: “And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.” – Luke 23:43

The MESSAGE:
All believers are heirs in God’s heavenly kingdom. But at a time we became estranged. Some of us turned away from the Lord, and were thus cut off from the source of His heavenly blessing. For some of us, it was somebody we trust who led us astray, while for others like Mephibosheth -while running for dear lives, they ran too far and they became isolated from the king’s palace.
But today the Lord’s mercy and grace is raising a divine helper and a benefactor to locate the lost amongst us. Just like the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-27) and just like David located Mephibosheth. He didn’t have to find Jonathan’s son: nobody else was there when he made the covenant, nobody knew when David made the promise to be kind to Jonathan’s offspring and nobody would have bothered or queried him if he didn’t.
After the way Saul had tried to kill David 23 times, he could have renounced the vow he made to Saul’s house. But David was gracious and sought out the undeserving and the helpless, and gave him all that could have been his. Only God can touch a man and make him do this kind of deed. Mephibosheth was lifted from poverty to plenty through the grace of the king. Beloved, God wants to lift us too from grass to grace. Are you willing to accept His grace and take his hand?

  5. I move from poverty to plenty today, in the name of Jesus.
  6. I move from the pit to the palace today, in the name of Jesus.
  7. Begin to thank the Lord for answers to the prayers.
