TOPIC - Who Shall Roll Away The Stone? 
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Psalm 13-15; Acts 19:21-41
FIRE SCRIPTURE: Mark 16:1-7
MEMORY VERSE: “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” – Philippians 4:6

The MESSAGE:
How would the stone the authorities ordered to be placed at the mouth of the tomb of Jesus be rolled away? This was the fear and concern of the two female disciples of Jesus (Mary Magdalene and Mary, the mother of James and Salome) as they approached the Master’s tomb on the resurrection morning. However, by the time they got there, God had sent His angel, the stone had been removed and Christ had risen. What the disciples could not do themselves, humanly speaking, God did for them through His angel. Not even a big stone placed at the mouth of the tomb to prevent Jesus from resurrecting or his corpse from being stolen could prevent God’s word that He would rise from the dead on the third day, from coming to pass.
The resurrection of Jesus defiled science and medicine. It rendered the Pharisees and Saducees speechless and disgraced. The fact that Jesus Himself had foretold it made all and sundry to bow to His sovereignty.
Perhaps there is a task before you that is herculean and almost impossible for mortals to achieve. Pray to God to help you and He will send His angels to come and do the seemingly impossible for you. The Bible says that what is impossible with man is possible with God. The disciples were anxious and worried about how the stone would be removed. But why worry when you can pray. Worry will not add value to you nor solve the problem you are facing. Turn the matter to the Lord in prayer and He will send you help from expected and unexpected quarters. Heed the Bible’s admonition in today’s Fire Scripture “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Remember also that God’s word had gone forth when Jesus Himself foretold that He would be arrested, crucified, buried and He would resurrect on the third day. The important lesson we must learn from this is that When God speaks concerning an issue, whatever God said shall surely come to pass. This also implies that no matter what the enemies do to hinder you and stop God’s word from coming to pass in your life, they will fail woefully.
Beloved, in case you are asking, “Who will help me solve this big and tough problem I am facing? God will. You only need to trust Him. He will never suffer the righteous to be moved. He is the Lord of all flesh (and all spirits) and nothing is too difficult for Him to do. The same loving Father, who sent His angel to roll away the stone placed at the tomb of Jesus, will come to your rescue, solve the problem and make a way for you to fulfil your destiny, in Jesus’ name.

MORNING
  1. O God that doeth hard and great things, appear in my situation, in the name of Jesus.
  2. My Father, I cast my burden upon You, arise and bear them for me, in the name of Jesus.
  3. Every stone of hindrance and obstruction in my way, catch fire and be rolled away, in the name of Jesus.
    EVENING
  4. My Father, send Your angel to help me today, in the name of Jesus.
  5. Lord Jesus, You are the Way Maker, make a way for my (breakthrough, promotion, advancement, deliverance, healing, business and career success), in the name of Jesus.
  6. The good counsel and purpose of God for my life shall stand, in the name of Jesus.
  7. Thou power of resurrection, do wonders in my life today, in the name of Jesus.
