--> Note :- Are you born again? You are never going to win the battle against the devil if you are not born again. I plead with you to give your life to Jesus today because the longer you stay in sin and remain unsaved, the more hardened your nature becomes against the purpose and the way God wants you to be for His purpose. To give your life to Jesus now, say this prayer: “Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I know that I am a sinner and I cannot save myself but Jesus died for me and shed His blood that I might be saved. Today, I accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. Jesus, I ask You to come into my heart, be my Lord, wash me with Your blood and make me whole. I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.” I congratulate you and welcome you to the family of God if you have sincerely said that prayer. Now you are fit to discover, know and walk in your destiny. Topic - Sin Would Be Judged

Text: Isaiah 19:5-10 (KJV)
Key Verse: “The fishers also shall mourn, and all they that cast angle into the brooks shall lament, and they that spread nets upon the waters shall languish” (Isaiah 19:8).

MESSAGE:
The essence of any sacrifice for any wrongdoing is to appease the offended. This sacrifice, by whatever form it may take, is understandably offered in genuine repentance and that the act would not be repeated. Sacrifice for sin without genuine repentance and complete turning away from sin displeases God.
The picture that is painted of Egypt in our text is a dark gloomy spectacle. God requires every man everywhere to repent in order to avoid that despairing spiritual condition. He allowed for that period of ignorance when men set aside God’s righteousness and proceeded to establish their own righteousness.
Egypt has the Nile River as its major source of sustenance. “And the waters shall fail” (v 5). God would allow it to happen because of Egypt’s penchant for worshipping the creature rather than the Creator. Egypt had had all sorts of gods its people and leaders worshipped. The irony was that the longsuffering God still loved them. But they remained unmoved. When Egypt had setbacks in war, their rulers did not repent.
But the situation would not continue. So, the Lord intervened and pronounced severe woes on Egypt. Punishment will always come upon those who ignore the love of God. Truly, He could be merciful yet He is a consuming fire and rewards every man according to his work. Backsliders should be restored while sinners should receive his pardon. Seek Him now while He may be found.
Thought For The Day: The door of God’s mercy will not remain open forever.
