--> Note :- Are you born again? You are never going to win the battle against the devil if you are not born again. I plead with you to give your life to Jesus today because the longer you stay in sin and remain unsaved, the more hardened your nature becomes against the purpose and the way God wants you to be for His purpose. To give your life to Jesus now, say this prayer: “Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I know that I am a sinner and I cannot save myself but Jesus died for me and shed His blood that I might be saved. Today, I accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. Jesus, I ask You to come into my heart, be my Lord, wash me with Your blood and make me whole. I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.” I congratulate you and welcome you to the family of God if you have sincerely said that prayer. Now you are fit to discover, know and walk in your destiny. READ: Psalms 21:1-11 King James Version (KJV)
1 The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!

2 Thou hast given him his heart’s desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.
3 For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.
4 He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever.
5 His glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him.
6 For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.
7 For the king trusteth in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.
8 Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.
9 Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.
10 Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.
11 For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.
THE MESSAGE:
David faced many foes before his throne as a King was finally established. Yesterday’s text was David’s request that he, with his people, be delivered from an imminent attack. God gave the victory and today’s psalm is thanksgiving for that victory. David gave thanks for past and anticipated blessings from God (verses 2, 3). For anticipated blessings, the King’s request is that his enemies, those who hate him, be found out, consumed, and burned with fire (verses 8-9) and their offspring destroyed from among the children of men (verse 10). This fiery prayer of David is premised on his belief that any enemy of his and his people, is God’s enemy, because God has chosen them (David and his people) as His own.
David is a good example of a man who rejoices in the Lord in and outside trouble times. He is so confident that God will always hear him when he prays. He understands his divine relationship with God and believes that whoever troubles him is troubling God and will receive commensurate judgment from God Himself. What is your relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ like? Is He your first port of call in time of trouble, confident that He will deliver you or is He a stand-by in case other sources fail? Those who trust in the Lord, are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever (Psalm 125:1).
PRAYER: Lord build in me the king David’s confidence to trust in You in my every life situation.
