Gen. 13:5-7 “Lot also, who went with Abram, had flocks and herds and tents. Now the land was not able to support them, that they might dwell together, for their possessions were so great that they could not dwell together. And there was strife between the herdsmen of Abram’s livestock and the herdsmen of Lot’s livestock. The Canaanites and the Perizzites then dwelt in the land”

You need the atmosphere of peace to succeed in life. Abraham separated from strife that was connected to Lot in Genesis chapter 13. Sometimes, there are people whose presence in your life generates tension. Remember the story of Jonah? Those sailors knew the sea. They had never had that kind of storm before but they carried a ‘storm-causer- Jonah, in their boat. 
 
Don’t bring into your life somebody who generates tension because God speaks to us in an atmosphere of peace. An atmosphere of strife is an atmosphere where the devil does his worst work, and every form of strife can be traced to a human being and to gossip. Whatever it is, separate and disconnect from it. Don’t find yourself in circles of gossips because they always walk with strange spirits and demons. Don’t find yourself sitting and discussing people.
 
Every time there is strife, you can always trace it to a person. That person who is the source of the strife has opened up to a wrong spirit that is on a mission of division and separation that is wrong.  Every time there is strife between you and somebody, it is time to decide. You must separate from any one that is bringing strife into your life on your way to the place where you are going. 
 
 
PRAYER: Lord, separate me from personalities that bring strife and chaos into my life. I receive all round peace in Jesus’ name. Amen!
