Attitude is simply a person’s outlook on life; the way you read life. If you will acquire the leadership life, you must understand the importance of attitude on impact in life. Understand the importance of attitude on success and on your function in life; and work upon your attitude. Nobody can help you, you alone can do that.

Most people fail today because they cultivate negative and poisonous habits which they sustain and enjoy - negative attitudes that don’t help anyone get anywhere great in life. One man of God used to describe attitude like an inflated football; the harder you bounce it, the higher it rises. Life will bounce you like a football, you must have something inside you that makes you rise higher in response to life’s trials.
Two people were given a glass cup with its content halfway and told to describe what they saw. One said the cup was half full while the other said it was half empty; same reality, but different perspectives. Your attitude determines what you see. The person who will acquire the leadership life must of a necessity have a good and positive mental attitude of himself and others; an attitude that believes in people and empowers them. Attitude is almost intangible but it affects everything.
Attitude is so critical to determining our effectiveness in leadership and indeed our function in life. Take it from me, a wrong attitude is one of the greatest liabilities a person can have. Get rid of it!

PRAYER: Lord, show me every wrong attitude in my life and I will get rid of it in Jesus’ name. Amen!
