--> Note :- Are you born again? You are never going to win the battle against the devil if you are not born again. I plead with you to give your life to Jesus today because the longer you stay in sin and remain unsaved, the more hardened your nature becomes against the purpose and the way God wants you to be for His purpose. To give your life to Jesus now, say this prayer: “Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I know that I am a sinner and I cannot save myself but Jesus died for me and shed His blood that I might be saved. Today, I accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. Jesus, I ask You to come into my heart, be my Lord, wash me with Your blood and make me whole. I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.” I congratulate you and welcome you to the family of God if you have sincerely said that prayer. Now you are fit to discover, know and walk in your destiny. TOPIC - AUTHENTICITY OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST

READ: GALATIANS 1: 11-24 (NKJV)

11. But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man.
12. For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ.
13. For you have heard of my former conduct in Judaism, how I persecuted the church of God beyond measure and tried to destroy it.
14. And I advanced in Judaism beyond many of my contemporaries in my own nation, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers.
15. But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace,
16. to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood,
17. nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia, and returned again to Damascus.
18. Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and remained with him fifteen days.
19. But I saw none of the other apostles except James, the Lord’s brother.
20. (Now concerning the things which I write to you, indeed, before God, I do not lie.)
21. Afterward I went into the regions of Syria and Cilicia.
22. And I was unknown by face to the churches of Judea which were in Christ.
23. But they were hearing only, “He who formerly persecuted us now preaches the faith which he once tried to destroy.”
24. And they glorified God in me.

THE MESSAGE:
As we saw in yesterday's reading, the authenticity of Christ's gospel cannot be faulted. His gospel is not man-made; it has a divine origin and came through a revelation from Jesus Christ Himself. No wonder its principles are sure and cannot be broken. Highly infused with inspiration and anointing, this gospel will never change. It's new every day!
In his blind bid to protect and guard the traditions of his fathers, even Paul in his fierce persecution of the Church could not destroy the gospel (Galatians 1:13). The gospel carries a light that darkness cannot withstand it (II Corinthians 4:5). The gospel of Christ is the only gospel that has the power to transform and regenerate. The gospel is the power of God for salvation; in it, the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith. (Romans 1:16-17).
Therefore, we must resist any attempt, trials, temptations, persecutions or afflictions that will take us away from the gospel of our Lord. We must be rooted and grounded in this gospel daily as we run our race.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, may your word dwell richly in my heart, in Jesus Name.
