Today, we will be concluding the steps to profitable following in the father’s house, and we will be looking at the last point.

8. Maintain the proper POSITION and POSTURE around him. You must know that where you give orders like a leader is different from where you are to receive instructions. Posture can affect the level of flow that you get from them. Don’t take a wrong posture around fathers. Don’t behave as if everything is fine while you are in serious trouble. 

Don’t portray that everything is fine between you and your spouse while you are always in conflicts and a simple counsel from your father will just melt the problem like a wax coming near a hot knife. Don’t try to impress him. Be real! 

Don’t take his words as suggestions. When you take the words of your father as suggestions, you are treading on the path of danger. A dog that will go astray will not hear the hunter’s whistle. Be careful to know that the voice of your father is the primary voice of caution to you from God. Once that man remains in truth, and he continues to follow the Lord Jesus, his words to you will not be suggestions; they must be direct commands from the Lord. Be careful! 
 
PRAYER: LORD, I receive grace to maintain the right posture and position around my father in Jesus’ name. Amen!
