--> Note :- Are you born again? You are never going to win the battle against the devil if you are not born again. I plead with you to give your life to Jesus today because the longer you stay in sin and remain unsaved, the more hardened your nature becomes against the purpose and the way God wants you to be for His purpose. To give your life to Jesus now, say this prayer: “Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I know that I am a sinner and I cannot save myself but Jesus died for me and shed His blood that I might be saved. Today, I accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. Jesus, I ask You to come into my heart, be my Lord, wash me with Your blood and make me whole. I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.” I congratulate you and welcome you to the family of God if you have sincerely said that prayer. Now you are fit to discover, know and walk in your destiny. TOPIC - Once Dead, But Now Alive!
READ: Colossians 2:11-17 King James Version (KJV)
11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:

12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
THE MESSAGE:
One of the wonders of the Christian faith is that it consists of men and women who were once “dead” but are now “alive”! This is very clearly stated in verse 13 of our reading today. The death spoken about here is not physical but spiritual. The beauty of the Christian faith is that we are all a congregation of forgiven sinners. God’s gracious ability to forgive does not have limits, as Scripture says: …having forgiven us all our trespasses (verse 13).
Maybe you’re struggling under the weight of loads of sin and the feeling of condemnation, without hope. The word of hope for us today is that God is willing and able to forgive us all our trespasses if we come to Him and ask for it in total humility. You need to realize today that you have no business groaning under the weight of sin and satanic influences, because Jesus has already gained the victory for you (verses 14-15). When we are in Christ and put our faith totally in Him, we triumph over sin and Satan.
Unfortunately, not all of us realise this – that is why even with our confession of Christ as Lord and Saviour, many of us still continue to live as slaves to sin and Satan. This ought not to be!
Prayer: Lord Jesus, grant me grace to live above sinful habits that threaten to derail Your grace in my life.
