If you are going to be elevated in life, you must be separated. There is nobody that is elevated without separation. In every promotion exam, not everybody in the same class will be promoted. When companies want to elevate a set of staff members, they separate them from the general working atmosphere and take them somewhere for a training seminar. Promotional interviews are individualistic; when your name is called, you either go in and come back promoted or go in and come back still at the same level.

There is a level in elevation that is lonely; the price to be paid is loneliness. Every great leader knows that there is loneliness chosen for you to function in leadership. There is the thinking of a leader that cannot be done in the midst of a group. Great leaders think deeply, make strong decisions, and then bring their decisions for discussion. Men who are great in life have been known to separate to meditate and think deeply on issues and life. When people don’t think deeply, their words don’t carry weight.
When Elisha was separated to follow Elijah, the sons of the prophet went to stay somewhere and watched Elisha but by the time Elisha came back and said, “Where is the God of Elijah?” and took the mantle of Elijah that fell and smote it hither and thither, they said, “The spirit of Elijah is resting upon Elisha”. He didn’t preach to them before they bowed.  But you must remember the spirit did not just fall on Elisha – he qualified himself for it by following Elijah alone.

PRAYER: Lord, I pray for a divine orchestration and working to engineer the needed separation for me to enter my destiny elevation in Jesus’ name. Amen!
