ANCHOR TEXT: “They said to Moses, “Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt?”
Exodus 14:11.

Excuses, self-pity, self-comparison, complaints, etc, happen when men take their eyes off what they have, and focus on what they lack. If you concentrate only on those who offended you, you will transfer the aggression to those who have not offended you. 
If you concentrate only on past failures, you will be so overwhelmed that you won’t be able to embrace fresh opportunity for success. If you give too much attention to your weakness, your strength will diminish. But if you can focus on what you have, it will take care of what you do not have. 
If you concentrate so much on past betrayals, you won’t be able to trust anyone again, and so on like that.Just because the Israelites unexpectedly confronted the Red sea, and were apprehensive, they forgot the good things God has done for them in the past. They started speaking blasphemy. 
Stop that blasphemy! Stop the comparison! Stop the complaints!  From now, focus on those who celebrate you, even if they are few, not those who betrayed you in the past.
