There are realities in the spirit – real, proven and multifarious realities that are at the beck and call of one’s faith at any time. As a believer, you have the capacity, through your faith, to pull these intangible realities of the spirit realm into your life. However, it is not every one of the realities in the spirit realm that are to be pulled.
 
There are positive realities in the spirit realm, and there are negative ones there too. Therefore, believers must be careful to know what they put their faith to exercise for. Job provides a fine example of this truth in the way he drew negative realities on himself by using his faith wrongly (Job 3:35).
 
Faith without the education will work against you. Before you got born again, there was a condition you were in. If you have a brother that is not born again, and each of you say, "The Lord will provide for my needs", both of you will not have the same result. By virtue of your being born again, you possess a faculty that when you speak, the words that you speak become impregnated with the life of God which causes your word to become attractive to spiritual realities when they get into the spirit realm.
 
God warns us so much about the use of our words because man is the only creature that He gave the ability to speak and things happen. Animals do not speak, and though angels can speak, they do not speak on their own volition. Angels only say what they are told to say, but man has the ability to generate what he wants by the things he says.
 
PRAYER: Lord, teach me to bridle my tongue and use it for my advantage in Jesus’ name. Amen!
