I have heard people complain of low income. I have heard some salary earners make series of jests on their pay packet; some usually say salary earned at month end is not enough to take home. Since I became involved in the things of God; I was qick to understand that no matter how little you consider your income, if you are determined to be wealthy, you must build up a reserve from it. 
The truth is, if you find it difficult to save certain percentage out of your meagre income; you won’t find it easy saving when your income becomes mega.You save money to meet further needs; both expected and unexpected. 
After paying your tithe which is ten percent of your total earning or as you have covenanted with God; keep at least another ten percent in a separate account for the future. If you spend it all; you are not wise. Proverbs 6:6 says ‘go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise’. 
The ants gather enough food in summer; and when it is winter, they live on their reserve. The ant does not need someone to tell it to store up provisions for the future; you should not either. If an ant can do it, then why won’t a whole you be able to. 
Come on! Make up your mind to start saving.
