Genesis 1:8.
In Genesis chapter 1, God had it in mind to create the entire universe, but He did not do it all at once. The first thing He confronted was chaos: ‘The earth was without form and void, and darkness was all over, and the spirit of God was hovering on the surface of the deep…’ (Genesis 1:1-2).
In the midst of this situation, God decided to handle the issue one after the other in order of priority. The first thing He addressed was the issue of darkness: ‘and God said: let there be light…’ and from there, He proceeded stepwise.
He worked on specific things one day at a time. And He made sure each task was successfully done before moving to the next.No doubt, a life that is lived this way will be effective. If you are the type that always wants to execute many tasks simultaneously, apart from the psychological and emotional stress you will suffer, there is also a strong tendency that out of impatience, you will commit serious blunder, and none of them will be successfully done.
This is the reason for many abandoned projects and dreams you see all around you.
